All residents of Iowa are entitled to a Missouri Valley Public Library card.  When requesting a card, a person must fill out a registration form with the following information:  Full name, current address, a home phone number, and email address.

We do not issue a physical card. Patrons are asked to give their name or card number at checkout, and the desk clerk will access their account through our online catalog. Patrons can access their own account online as well, but checkouts and renewals must be done on site.

The standard borrowing period for books, magazines, audiobooks and DVDs is two weeks.  Patrons are responsible for lost or damaged library materials and will be billed for full replacement cost of materials.
